Background about FAUmentoring ARIADNEphil

The program is aimed at female early career researchers from all departments who have at least started a doctorate, i.e. doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, habilitation candidates and W1-professors.

The core of the program is one-to-one mentoring, in which the mentee receives individual advice and support from experienced academics at higher qualification levels.

The aim of the program is to individually support high-potential female researchers in their academic career planning.

An accompanying, target group-specific event program consisting of workshops, lectures and network meetings also gives mentees the opportunity to acquire career-relevant skills and build networks. The top-class event and seminar program is offered exclusively and free of charge for the mentees.

Further information on the program can be found in the Mentoring Guidelines.

The career mentoring program for young female researchers at the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology is part of the target agreements for increasing the proportion of women in academia 2023-2027 which were agreed between the university executive board and the faculty.
